New Spring Favorites

We are right on the cusp of May and I couldn’t be more excited! The tulips are starting to bloom in Albany and everything is greener. I’m stoked to be able to open the windows again and breathe in the fresh air. I’m also happy that I get to wear some of my new Spring favorites that I’ve been saving up for the sunny days ahead.

On a more personal note, work has been insane for the past couple of months. The dance company has had residencies and school shows and now we’re gearing up for our big Egg performance and gala next weekend. I injured my back in February and I’m still feeling the repercussions of the injury. I haven’t been able to fully dance for over a week now. I have found relief from going to an amazing chiropractor and I’m hoping that it continues so that I can be at my best next Saturday and for the rest of the season.

Two things that have helped me get through the busy Spring season are these Spelt Chocolate Chunk cookies and my new unicorn planner from Amazon. The cookies are my favorite right now and for good reasons. So flavorful and perfect!. The planner goes through June 2019, so it’s perfect for people like me who like to stay ahead.

I recently ordered a bunch of things from my favorite place to online shop, ASOS. I love pretty much everything they have on the site, it’s usually pretty affordable, and it always fits! I seriously rarely have to return anything and if I do, they make it really easy with free returns. I also like to get all of my formal dresses for weddings and events from ASOS. They have a beautiful selection and their sizing charts are very accurate, especially for the ASOS brand.

The outfit pictured above is now the cutest and most comfortable outfit I own. I love florals! It can totally be worn to work and out and about to play. I love how it looks like a jumpsuit, but it is actually two pieces. You ladies know how awful it is to go to the restroom when you have a jumpsuit on!

I got a US 6 in both the top and the bottoms and they fit wonderfully. They are supposed to be cropped, but I’m 5′ 4″. I am happy that they don’t touch the ground, though! My earrings are from Target, of course. The jean jacket is from the Gap when I was about 13 (yes it still fits) and the bag is an old Betsy Johnson!

The round sunglasses are from H&M and they are clearly very in right now πŸ˜‰ I just ran into Kara and Lauren and Albany’s Half Moon Market and we all had them on! I had to get a pic.

I hope you are all enjoying your weekends! Here are a few more snaps from my weekend thus far!
